Prices for web page design:

  At Hideaway Productions every site is treated uniquely.
There are no set prices or "packages" we are more likely
to base your fees on the assistance you require from us,
and provide discounts accordingly.

  Please use these figures only to get a ballpark idea...
we will give you a quote on exactly what you need.

  At the low end of the scale are "basic" web sites.
This is usually a maximum of 3 pages with very
little customization and no extra functionality for $400.
If your site just needs to inform people of your hours
and location, then that's probably enough.

  The same basic type of site with a customized design
will usually come to around $800 to $1500, depending
on the number of pages.  These prices are just a
starting point: we will provide a detailed proposal that i
temizes various costs like additional pages or extra image
work, updates, forms, and special effects for the site.
We do not charge you to assist with hosting, domain
egistration, or assisting in acquiring a merchant account.
Depending on the shopping cart and gateway software,
if needed, there could be minimum fees involved.

  E-commerce is usually priced separately. Starting costs
for an e-commerce enabled web site usually start at
around $1000 for the bare minimum. You can also
expect to pay an ongoing monthly fee of $15 to $50 for a
typical online store, depending on how many products you
have and how many options are involved in the
ordering process.

  Hosting is another separate cost, but a fairly small one.
Basic site hosting - shared services, where your site is
run on the same computer with many others -- can be
as low as $10/month; $15 to $25 monthly hosting fees
are common. Dedicated hosting, in which a specific
computer is only used to run your site, is more like
$150/month. These costs are directly related to the size
and visitor activity on your site, so online popularity
can increase your monthly bills.

There are other occasional expenses you should expect:
if you don't own your domain name - the "yourcompany.com" -
it might cost you $10 to $20 per year depending on the
company you register the domain with.
(Don't worry we can help you with that too!) There may be
monthly fees for updating your site if you do not plan
to do that yourself.
